- Pohl's book "C++ for C Programmers" has some appeal; I too tried to
- locate a text as appealing as the K&R for learning and then later,
- referencing. It does have some shortcomings, though, and there are
- a number of unresolved ambiguities in some of the examples (you'd have
- to look for them knowing what you've missed once you become familiar
- with C++). Personally, I think Pohl just wanted to capitalise on the
- newness of C++, and in a sense, revamped his C programming book for C++,
- but all in all, it's not a bad start. Good luck.
